Art Gallery Opening

The Woodstock new Art Gallery has finally opened, after months of renovation and discussion. The opening ceremony started at 6:45 and a good 300 or so people attended. Many officials such as McGuinty, the Mayor and some sponsors were at the event, as well as a group of dancers dancing on the street prior to the event.

The interior is very  elegant and stylish, reminds me of the larger art galleries from Toronto and Montreal. There's a gift shop on the main floor, a large elevator, a lounge room and plenty of space for artwork to be displayed. In all, the opening was a great success and I'll be visiting the art gallery more often from now on.
